At Midwest Food Bank, every donated dollar has the potential to go much further than its face value. Through donated food, dedicated volunteers, and highly efficient operations, the organization can turn one dollar into approximately $35 worth of food for neighbors in need. In 2025, Midwest Food Bank received a $25,000 grant from Kaleo to procure and distribute 10 semi-truckloads of food—enough to provide approximately 300,000 meals. The grant
